Injectable treatments, or fillers, work by restoring volume to the aging face.

Newer injectables like Restylane® and Juvederm™ are both composed of hyaluronic acid – a substance naturally found in your skin. As we age, the amount of hyaluronic acid in the skin and soft tissue decreases, giving us an aged appearance. Restylane® and Juvederm™ are used to restore a more youthful facial contour by plumping up the lines and wrinkles they are injected into. Providing immediate results with almost no downtime, these products give you a natural look and feel, without lumps or firmness.

Radiesse® is another wonderful addition to our treatments. It is composed of calcium hyroxyapatite – again, another substance naturally found in the body. Since Radiesse® is a thicker filler, it will last longer than Restylane® or Juvederm™. You will have an in-depth consultation with the surgeon to decide which areas should be addressed, and what filler, or combination of fillers should be used.
